あなたは暴君のようです、あたかも美女たちの誇るべき美貌が
彼女たちを残酷にさせるように
なぜならわたしの切実な愛に溺れる心にとってあなたが最も美しく最も貴重な宝石であることを あなたはよく承知しているからです、
けれども あなたを見たことのある人たちが 誓って
あなたの顔には愛する者にうめき声を上げさせる魅力はないと言うのです
わたしには彼らの言い分が間違っていると指摘する勇気はありません
ただ自分の心の中で誓ってそのようにつぶやくだけです、
そしてそのように誓って言うわたしの言葉は決して誤りではありません
あなたの顔そして互いに首を重ねるところを思い浮かべるだけでも
