愛の女神ビーナスの手によって造られた彼女の唇は
「わたしは嫌いよ」という言葉を吐き出した
彼女に恋焦がれているわたしに対して、
でも彼女がわたしの悲し気な様子を見たとき
彼女の心にすぐさま憐みの気持ちが湧いてきた
いつも優しい言い方をしていたのにと
彼女の心はその舌を責め
こうして新しい接し方を教えた
彼女は「わたしは嫌いよ」に続く
言葉の最後を変えたのだった
天国から地獄へ飛び去る悪魔のような夜の後に
優しい日が訪れるように、
彼女は「わたしは嫌いよ」という言葉を捨て去り
「でもあなたのことではないわ」と言ってわたしの命を救ったのです。
