不名誉は香しいバラにとりつく病弊のように
世に知られつつあるあなたの名声を損なうものなのだが

あなたの遊興について淫らなコメントを付しながら
これまでのあなたの来し方について語ろうとする者も
ある種の称賛のかたちでしか貶めることができない
あなたの名前を口にすれば悪い評判さえ祝福に変わってしまう、
おお、それらの悪徳はどんな邸を手に入れたのだろう？
